Refund, Cancellation & Digital Product Delivery Policy
Effective Date: 22 September 2026
Last Updated: 22 September 2026
At BrandRipple InfoTech (“BRIT”, “BrandRipple InfoTech”, “we”, “us”, “our”, or “the Company”), we aim to provide clear and transparent information regarding purchases of our Digital Products and engagement of our digital and professional Services.
This Refund, Cancellation & Digital Product Delivery Policy (“Refund Policy”) explains the rules applicable to:
- purchases made through the BrandRipple InfoTech Website;
- Digital Products purchased through our online store;
- electronic delivery and downloading of Digital Products;
- cancellations;
- refunds;
- failed or unsuccessful deliveries;
- duplicate payments;
- defective or materially incorrect Digital Products;
- payment disputes and chargebacks; and
- certain cancellations relating to professional Services.
This Policy forms part of the legal framework governing your use of the Website and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, applicable Digital Product Licence & Usage Policy, and any Product-specific terms displayed before purchase.
By accessing, using, purchasing from or otherwise interacting with the BRIT Website or online store, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
Where applicable law provides a mandatory right, remedy or protection that differs from this Policy, the applicable law shall prevail to the extent required.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to purchases and transactions made through:
- the BRIT Website;
- online checkout pages;
- payment links;
- customer accounts;
- electronic purchase processes;
- other authorised BRIT digital purchase channels; and
- other transaction methods expressly governed by BRIT’s online-store policies.
This Policy applies primarily to Digital Products and, where expressly stated, to BRIT’s professional Services.
2. Digital Products Are Electronically Delivered
BRIT’s online store may offer Products that are delivered electronically.
Digital Products may include:
- templates;
- graphics;
- branding resources;
- design resources;
- documents;
- guides;
- digital files;
- editable resources;
- business resources;
- digital toolkits;
- educational resources;
- downloadable assets;
- bundles; and
- other electronically supplied Products.
Unless a Product listing expressly states otherwise, Digital Products are not physical goods and no physical parcel or courier shipment will be made.
3. Review Before Purchase
Customers are expected to review the Product information before completing a purchase.
Depending on the Product, the listing may provide information relating to:
- Product description;
- included files;
- file formats;
- software requirements;
- compatibility;
- licence type;
- permitted usage;
- Product dimensions;
- version information;
- included features;
- download method; and
- other relevant specifications.
The customer should carefully review the available information before placing an Order.
4. Nature of Digital Purchases
Because Digital Products can be made available electronically and may be accessed or downloaded shortly after successful payment, they differ from physical goods that can ordinarily be returned by physical possession.
Accordingly, refund eligibility for Digital Products may be more limited than for physical products.
However, nothing in this Policy excludes or restricts any statutory right, remedy or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Order Cancellation Before Digital Delivery
A customer may contact BRIT to request cancellation of an Order before the Digital Product has been delivered or made accessible.
Cancellation will be considered based on:
- whether payment has been successfully received;
- whether delivery has already occurred;
- whether a download or access link has already been issued;
- whether the Product has been accessed or downloaded;
- whether the transaction is affected by fraud, technical error or another issue; and
- applicable law.
Where cancellation is approved, the applicable refund will generally be processed using the original payment method, subject to the procedures of the payment provider.
6. Cancellation After Digital Delivery or Download
Once a Digital Product has been delivered, accessed or downloaded, cancellation may generally not be available merely because the customer:
- changed their mind;
- no longer needs the Product;
- purchased the Product unintentionally;
- dislikes the Product;
- expected a different personal preference or style;
- has not used the Product;
- has already downloaded the Product but decided not to use it; or
- finds a different Product elsewhere.
This restriction is subject to applicable law and does not override any mandatory consumer right or remedy.
7. Digital Products Are Generally Non-Returnable
Digital Products cannot generally be physically returned because there is no physical item to return.
Accordingly, approved remedies will normally take the form of:
- refund;
- replacement;
- corrected file;
- renewed download access;
- alternative delivery;
- technical assistance; or
- another appropriate remedy,
depending on the circumstances.
8. Refunds for Defective Digital Products
BRIT may provide an appropriate refund, replacement or correction where a purchased Digital Product is materially defective.
Examples may include:
- a file that is technically corrupted;
- a file that cannot reasonably be opened in the stated compatible environment;
- a missing material component that was expressly represented as included;
- an incorrect file being delivered;
- a materially incomplete Product; or
- a Product that materially differs from its advertised description.
Minor differences, reasonable design variations or subjective preferences do not necessarily constitute a defect.
9. Incorrect Product Delivered
If BRIT accidentally provides a different Digital Product from the one purchased, the customer should contact BRIT promptly.
After verification, BRIT may:
- provide the correct Product;
- provide a replacement download;
- correct the Order;
- provide another appropriate remedy; or
- issue a refund where appropriate.
10. Corrupted or Damaged Download
If a purchased file appears corrupted, incomplete or technically unusable, the customer should contact BRIT with:
- Order details;
- Product name;
- registered email address;
- relevant screenshots or error information where available; and
- sufficient information to identify the problem.
BRIT may first attempt to resolve the issue by:
- supplying a replacement file;
- providing a new download link;
- providing an updated version;
- providing technical instructions; or
- otherwise correcting the delivery issue.
Where the issue cannot reasonably be resolved, BRIT may consider a refund or another appropriate remedy.
11. Compatibility Issues
Before purchase, customers should review the stated compatibility and software requirements for the relevant Product.
BRIT is generally not responsible for incompatibility caused by:
- unsupported software;
- outdated software;
- changed software versions;
- unsupported operating systems;
- third-party applications;
- customer-side technical limitations;
- altered files;
- unauthorised modifications; or
- other circumstances outside BRIT’s reasonable control.
Where a Product was advertised as compatible with a particular environment but does not reasonably function in that stated environment, BRIT may investigate the issue.
12. Customer Technical Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have:
- a compatible device;
- suitable software;
- sufficient storage;
- an active internet connection;
- compatible applications;
- valid software licences where required; and
- the technical ability to access the Product.
BRIT is not responsible for problems arising solely from the customer’s device, network, software, configuration or internet service.
13. Delivery of Digital Products
Digital Products may be delivered through:
- an immediate download link after successful payment;
- email;
- customer account/dashboard;
- protected download page;
- a secure access link; or
- another electronic delivery mechanism selected by BRIT.
The delivery method may vary by Product.
14. When Digital Delivery Is Considered Complete
Unless otherwise stated, Digital Product delivery is considered completed when the Product or a valid mechanism for accessing the Product has been made available to the customer.
For example, delivery may be considered completed when:
- a download link is generated;
- a download becomes available in the customer’s account;
- an access link is sent by email; or
- the Product is otherwise made electronically accessible.
Actual downloading by the customer is not necessarily required for delivery to have occurred where access has already been validly provided.
15. Delivery Delays
Although Digital Products are generally intended for electronic delivery, access may occasionally be delayed because of:
- payment verification;
- payment gateway processing;
- technical issues;
- email delivery problems;
- Website interruptions;
- security checks;
- account verification;
- server issues; or
- other circumstances beyond BRIT’s reasonable control.
If payment has been successfully received but delivery has not occurred within a reasonable period, the customer should contact BRIT.
BRIT will make reasonable efforts to investigate and provide access or another appropriate remedy.
16. Incorrect Email Address
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate email address and other required contact information during checkout.
BRIT is not responsible for non-delivery caused solely by:
- an incorrect email address;
- an inactive mailbox;
- customer-side spam filtering;
- blocked email domains;
- an inaccessible account;
- customer-side security settings; or
- other circumstances caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
17. Download Links and Expiry
Certain Digital Products may be supplied with:
- limited download attempts;
- download expiry dates;
- account-based access;
- security restrictions; or
- other access limitations.
Any specific limitation displayed on the Product page or provided at purchase will apply to the relevant Product.
Where technically and commercially reasonable, BRIT may assist a legitimate purchaser who has lost access to a valid download.
18. Lost Download Access
If a customer legitimately purchased a Digital Product but later loses access to the download, the customer may contact BRIT using the official support channel.
BRIT may request reasonable information such as:
- Order number;
- purchaser name;
- purchase email address;
- payment reference;
- Product name; or
- other transaction information.
After verification, BRIT may provide replacement access where reasonably possible.
Replacement access is not intended to create additional licences or permit unauthorised sharing.
19. Duplicate Purchases
If a customer accidentally purchases the same Digital Product more than once, the customer should contact BRIT promptly with the relevant Order details.
Where duplicate payment and duplicate purchase are confirmed, BRIT may:
- refund the duplicate transaction;
- provide another appropriate adjustment; or
- otherwise resolve the matter reasonably,
subject to transaction verification and applicable law.
20. Failed Payment
If a payment fails, is declined, expires or is not successfully confirmed by the applicable payment provider, BRIT may not provide the Digital Product until successful payment is confirmed.
Customers should not assume that an unsuccessful checkout has created a valid Order merely because a temporary banking authorisation or pending transaction appears in their account.
21. Amount Debited but Order Not Confirmed
Occasionally, a customer’s bank or payment application may show a debit or pending amount while BRIT has not received successful settlement confirmation.
In such cases, the transaction may require verification.
BRIT may wait for payment confirmation from the relevant payment provider before delivering the Product.
If the payment is ultimately not received by BRIT and the amount is later released or reversed by the payment provider, the customer may need to follow up with their bank or payment provider.
22. Duplicate Payment by Payment Gateway
If an Order is accidentally charged more than once and duplicate settlement is confirmed, BRIT will take reasonable steps to address the duplicate transaction.
Any approved refund will ordinarily be processed to the original payment method, subject to the payment provider’s procedures.
23. Refund Eligibility for Digital Products
Subject to applicable law, a refund for a Digital Product may be considered where:
- the wrong Product was delivered;
- the Product is materially defective;
- the file is materially corrupted;
- the Product materially differs from its published description;
- payment was successfully captured but the Product was not delivered within a reasonable period;
- a duplicate payment or duplicate Order is confirmed;
- a technical issue within BRIT’s control prevents the customer from reasonably accessing the purchased Product; or
- another circumstance warrants a remedy under applicable law or BRIT’s written approval.
24. Situations Normally Not Eligible for Refund
Subject to applicable law, a Digital Product purchase will generally not be refundable solely because:
- the customer changed their mind;
- the customer no longer requires the Product;
- the customer purchased the wrong Product through their own error;
- the customer expected a different personal preference or aesthetic;
- the customer did not read the Product description;
- the customer did not review compatibility requirements;
- the customer downloaded the Product and later decided not to use it;
- the customer already owns another similar Product;
- the customer found a cheaper alternative elsewhere; or
- the customer does not know how to use the Product despite the Product being supplied as described.
This section does not override any mandatory statutory right.
25. Refund for Product Not as Advertised
Where a Digital Product is materially different from its advertised description or expressly stated specifications, BRIT will review the matter and may provide an appropriate remedy, which may include:
- correction;
- replacement;
- updated files;
- additional access; or
- refund,
depending on the nature of the issue and applicable law.
26. Refund Requests and Supporting Information
BRIT may require reasonable information to verify a refund request.
A refund request may include:
- customer name;
- Order number;
- purchase email;
- Product name;
- date of purchase;
- payment reference;
- description of the issue;
- screenshots;
- relevant error messages; and
- other reasonably necessary supporting information.
This information is used to investigate the transaction and prevent fraudulent or duplicate claims.
27. Refund Request Timeframe
Customers should report Product or delivery issues as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue.
Where a specific Product page, Order confirmation or separate policy states a specific claim period, that period may apply subject to applicable law.
Failure to report an issue promptly may make technical investigation more difficult, particularly where third-party platforms, software versions or download systems are involved.
28. Refund Assessment
A refund request does not automatically guarantee a refund.
BRIT may review:
- the Order;
- payment status;
- Product delivered;
- download/access status;
- nature of the claimed defect;
- Product description;
- applicable licence;
- technical circumstances;
- previous communications; and
- applicable legal requirements.
BRIT may offer a correction or replacement where that reasonably resolves the issue.
29. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, BRIT will normally initiate the refund using the original payment method unless another legally and technically appropriate method is agreed.
The time taken for funds to appear in the customer’s account may depend on:
- the payment gateway;
- bank;
- card issuer;
- UPI provider;
- financial institution; or
- other payment intermediary.
BRIT does not control the processing time of external financial institutions.
30. Refunds to the Original Payment Method
Where feasible, refunds will be returned to the same payment source used for the original transaction.
Additional identity or transaction verification may be required to protect against fraud.
BRIT may refuse to send a refund to an unrelated third party or different payment account where doing so creates a reasonable fraud or compliance concern.
31. Payment Gateway Fees and Transaction Charges
Where a refund is approved, BRIT will process the refund subject to applicable law and the terms of the relevant transaction.
Any treatment of payment gateway fees, transaction costs or third-party charges will depend on:
- applicable law;
- the reason for the refund;
- the payment provider’s policies; and
- the terms applicable to the relevant transaction.
BRIT will not use this clause to unlawfully reduce a refund where the customer is legally entitled to receive the full applicable amount.
32. Professional Service Cancellation
Professional Services provided by BRIT may have different cancellation terms from Digital Products.
Service cancellations may be governed by the applicable:
- proposal;
- quotation;
- statement of work;
- service agreement;
- invoice;
- project agreement; or
- written commercial terms.
Those terms may address:
- advance payments;
- milestone payments;
- work already completed;
- third-party expenses;
- reserved project capacity;
- cancellation charges;
- approved expenses; and
- partially completed work.
Where a project-specific agreement contains cancellation or refund terms, that agreement shall govern the particular engagement to the extent of any inconsistency.
33. Refunds for Partially Completed Services
Where a customer terminates a professional Service after work has commenced, any refund will generally depend on the terms agreed for that project.
BRIT may retain or invoice amounts attributable to:
- work already completed;
- deliverables already supplied;
- approved revisions;
- third-party expenses;
- non-recoverable costs;
- time or resources already committed; and
- other amounts contractually due.
Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
34. Custom Work and Bespoke Digital Services
Custom design, branding, development, consulting, content and other bespoke Services are different from standard Digital Products.
Where a bespoke Service has been:
- specifically created;
- substantially developed;
- delivered;
- approved;
- customised according to client instructions; or
- otherwise materially performed,
refund eligibility may be governed by the applicable Project Agreement rather than the rules for standard Digital Products.
35. Promotional Products and Discounted Orders
Products purchased using promotional pricing, discount codes or special offers remain subject to this Policy unless the promotion expressly provides different terms.
A discount or promotional offer does not automatically create a special refund entitlement.
Where a refund is approved for an Order involving multiple Products or a bundle, the calculation may take into account:
- promotional pricing;
- bundle pricing;
- individual Product values; and
- the terms of the promotional offer.
36. Free Products, Bonuses and Complimentary Resources
Where a paid Product includes a free bonus, complimentary resource or promotional item, that free item may not have an independent monetary refund value.
If the paid Product is refunded, access to associated bonus material may also be withdrawn where appropriate.
37. Bundles and Product Packages
Where multiple Digital Products are sold together as a bundle or package, the refund treatment may depend upon:
- whether the bundle has been downloaded;
- whether individual components have been accessed;
- whether the Product licence applies to the bundle;
- whether the bundle price differs from the individual Products; and
- applicable law.
A refund of one component of a bundle is not automatically available where the bundle was sold as a single integrated Product.
38. Product Upgrades and Updates
Where a Digital Product is upgraded, replaced or updated, the existence of a newer version does not automatically create a refund right for an earlier purchase.
Where BRIT expressly provides an update or replacement to resolve a Product defect, the customer should ordinarily use that remedy before requesting a refund.
39. Third-Party Software and Compatibility
BRIT may supply Products that require third-party software, applications, platforms or services.
BRIT does not control:
- third-party software updates;
- subscription changes;
- discontinued software;
- platform policy changes;
- API changes;
- compatibility changes; or
- third-party technical requirements.
A refund is not automatically available solely because a third-party provider changes its software or service after purchase.
Where BRIT expressly advertised compatibility with a specific supported environment and that compatibility was materially incorrect at the time of purchase, BRIT may investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.
40. Unauthorised Use of Purchased Products
Refund requests may be affected where there is reasonable evidence that a customer has:
- redistributed the Product;
- publicly shared download links;
- uploaded files to another website;
- sold or sublicensed the Product;
- violated the Product licence;
- attempted to defeat access controls; or
- otherwise abused the Product.
Any such action may also constitute a breach of the Terms & Conditions and applicable intellectual-property rights.
Nothing in this section removes a lawful statutory remedy where one applies.
41. Chargebacks
Customers are encouraged to contact BRIT before initiating a chargeback regarding a genuine transaction issue.
BRIT may investigate chargebacks and provide transaction records to the relevant payment provider or financial institution where appropriate.
Nothing in this Policy prevents a customer from exercising a genuine and lawful right to dispute an unauthorised or incorrect transaction.
42. Fraudulent or Abusive Refund Claims
BRIT reserves the right to investigate suspected:
- fraudulent refund requests;
- repeated unreasonable refund claims;
- false representations;
- manipulated screenshots or evidence;
- payment abuse;
- chargeback abuse;
- account-sharing;
- unauthorised downloads; or
- other dishonest activity.
Where permitted by law, BRIT may suspend access, cancel outstanding Orders, restrict account use or take appropriate legal action.
43. No Cash Refund Where Not Required
Where a Product or Service is legitimately refunded, BRIT may process the refund electronically through the original payment method or another lawful method.
Cash refunds will not ordinarily be provided for online Digital Product transactions unless required or specifically agreed.
44. Taxes and Refunds
Where applicable taxes were charged on an Order, the treatment of taxes upon refund will depend on:
- the nature of the refund;
- applicable tax law;
- the invoice;
- accounting treatment; and
- statutory requirements.
Where required, tax-related adjustments will be reflected through the applicable accounting or credit-note process.
45. International Purchases
Where BRIT accepts purchases from customers outside India, payment conversion, banking fees, exchange-rate differences, international transaction charges and local taxes may be affected by the payment provider and applicable law.
Refunds may be subject to exchange-rate variation where the financial institution processes the refund at a different exchange rate from the original transaction, subject to applicable law.
Customers making international purchases remain responsible for complying with applicable local laws.
46. Customer Support for Digital Products
Customers experiencing delivery, download or technical issues should contact BRIT through the official support/contact channel published on the Website.
Support requests should include enough information for BRIT to identify the relevant transaction.
BRIT will make reasonable efforts to assist with genuine delivery and access problems.
47. Abuse of Technical Support
Technical support is intended to assist legitimate customers with their purchased Products.
Repeated requests unrelated to the purchased Product, attempts to obtain additional Products without payment, or requests to perform custom work not included with the Product may be treated as separate Services and may incur additional fees.
48. No Guarantee of Future Availability
BRIT may modify, update, replace or discontinue Products in accordance with its Terms & Conditions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at purchase, purchasing a Digital Product does not guarantee perpetual availability of every future version, upgrade, expansion or successor Product.
BRIT will nevertheless comply with applicable statutory obligations relating to completed transactions.
49. Product Access After Account Termination
Where Digital Product access depends upon a customer account, suspension or termination of the account for fraud, abuse or material breach may affect access to Products.
This does not remove ownership or licence rights that have already lawfully accrued where they are not dependent upon continued account access, nor does it remove mandatory statutory rights.
50. Dispute Resolution for Refund Matters
Customers should first contact BRIT to attempt to resolve any refund, cancellation or delivery issue.
If the matter cannot be resolved through ordinary communication, the dispute shall be handled in accordance with the dispute-resolution provisions contained in the applicable Terms & Conditions or Project Agreement, subject to applicable law.
51. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude, reduce or override a consumer’s mandatory legal rights.
The Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 apply to e-commerce transactions involving goods and services purchased or sold through digital or electronic networks, including digital products. The Rules also address situations where goods or services are not as advertised or agreed and provide for refund-related obligations in applicable circumstances.
Where applicable Indian law grants a customer a right that is inconsistent with this Policy, that statutory right shall prevail to the extent required.
52. Changes to This Refund Policy
BRIT reserves the right to modify, amend, revise, replace, update, supplement or otherwise change this Refund, Cancellation & Digital Product Delivery Policy from time to time, subject to applicable law.
Changes may be made because of:
- new Products;
- new Service offerings;
- changes in our online store;
- changes in payment systems;
- changes in delivery methods;
- changes in business operations;
- changes in third-party platforms;
- changes in applicable law;
- changes in tax requirements;
- changes in technology; or
- other legitimate business or legal reasons.
The latest version will be published on the Website with the applicable “Last Updated” date.
53. Acceptance of Updated Refund Policy
By continuing to access, browse, purchase from, or otherwise use the Website or online store after an updated version of this Policy has been published, you acknowledge and accept the updated Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
This applies regardless of whether the Website is accessed through:
- desktop;
- laptop;
- mobile phone;
- tablet;
- browser;
- application;
- direct link;
- search engine;
- email;
- social media;
- advertisement; or
- any other current or future device or access method.
However, where applicable law requires specific consent or disclosure for a particular transaction or processing activity, such legal requirement will prevail.
54. Product-Specific Terms
A particular Digital Product may have additional terms relating to:
- licensing;
- access;
- compatibility;
- number of users;
- permitted commercial use;
- download limitations;
- update rights;
- support; or
- refund conditions.
Where such Product-specific terms are clearly presented before purchase, they form part of the applicable transaction.
55. Conflict Between Policies
If there is a conflict between:
- this Refund Policy;
- a Product-specific refund term;
- a Project Agreement; or
- mandatory applicable law,
the following general priority will apply:
Applicable law → specific signed or expressly accepted contractual terms → Product-specific terms → this Refund Policy → general Website information, to the extent legally applicable.
56. Contact for Refund and Cancellation Requests
Refund, cancellation, delivery and Product-access requests should be submitted through the official contact channels published on the BRIT Website.
Website:
https://brandrippleinfotech.com/
BrandRipple InfoTech
Puducherry, India
Customers should include their Order number or transaction information wherever available.
57. Grievance Redressal
Where a complaint cannot be resolved through ordinary customer support, the customer may use BRIT’s published grievance-redressal mechanism.
The latest Grievance Officer name, email address, telephone number and complaint procedure should be published on the Website’s dedicated Grievance Redressal or Legal Information page.
Applicable e-commerce rules provide for a grievance mechanism and require the designated grievance officer to acknowledge consumer complaints within the prescribed period and redress them within the prescribed timeline.
58. Electronic Records
Refund requests, Order records, invoices, payment confirmations, download records, customer communications and other electronic records may be maintained and relied upon to administer transactions, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations, subject to applicable law.
59. Final Refund Policy Acknowledgement
By purchasing a Digital Product, making a payment, submitting a refund or cancellation request, downloading a Product, accessing a Product, engaging BRIT for a Service, or otherwise using the BRIT Website or online store, you acknowledge that:
- you have had a reasonable opportunity to review this Policy;
- Digital Products may be delivered electronically and may become available shortly after successful payment;
- refund eligibility may differ between Digital Products and professional Services;
- Product-specific licence and usage restrictions may apply;
- this Policy may be modified by BRIT from time to time;
- continued Website or store use after an update constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of the updated Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law; and
- no provision of this Policy is intended to exclude any mandatory statutory right or remedy.
